La Sainte Famille

The House & the Mission

A place of welcome and peace

La Sainte Famille guesthouse is located at 17 rue de Bagneres in Lourdes, approximately 1.5 km from the Grotto of the Apparitions. It offers a peaceful and warm setting for pilgrims coming to pray at the Sanctuaries.

The Travailleuses Missionnaires de l'Immaculee

The house is run by the Travailleuses Missionnaires de l'Immaculee (TMI), a religious community of apostolic life present on five continents. Present in Lourdes since 2007, the TMI sisters devote themselves to welcoming pilgrims in a spirit of service and fraternity.

A spirit of welcome

Inspired by the Holy Family of Nazareth, our house aims to be a home open to all. Each pilgrim is welcomed with joy, simplicity and love. Whether you come alone, with family or as a group, you will find here a place for rest, prayer and encounter.

Our history

Present in over 30 countries across five continents, the TMI are dedicated to evangelisation, hospitality and service to the most vulnerable. Present in Lourdes since 2007, the TMI sisters took over this guesthouse to make it a place of Christian hospitality, faithful to the spirit of Bernadette: welcoming each person as Christ himself.
